A vendor accepts a drawing, goes straight to production, hands you the final product, and moves to the next customer. To us, that’s like greeting someone without a smile and a kind word – we just wouldn’t do it that way. At QuikCut, we know that when you succeed, we succeed, which is why we want to be a partner, not a vendor.
We educate ourselves on the product’s end-use so we can add as much value as possible. We look at the big picture and ask questions like – Is this design safe? Is this the most efficient way to fabricate this? Could this part be formed instead of being welded? Because so many of our capabilities are in-house, our internal communication is top-notch. It’s not uncommon for our welders to be brought into the quoting process to make recommendations, and later, keep the customer’s specific needs top of mind while the work is being done.
